The Beer Trap's Holiday Season Selection

Holiday cheer is here at the Beer Trap!  We're putting new seasonal brews on our shelves almost daily throughout the month of December.  We've showcased of few of them here for you to see.  Most of these will only be around until early January when they sell out.  Some of the most popular seasonal beers will be gone much sooner.  Stop by and pick up your favorites today.

Shiner  Holiday Cheer

Our favorite Texas holiday tradition is back for another year!  Be sure to share the gift of beer brewed with local peaches and pecans with friends, family and yourself too.  Pick up a pack before Santa and the elves drink it all.  Available in bottles and cans for a limited time.  ABV: 5.4%

Bell's  Christmas Ale

Bell's Christmas Ale is a seasonal holiday beer, using locally grown malt, to help it stand apart from the array of spiced winter warmers that are typically introduced this time of year. This traditional Scotch Ale is rich and malty with notes of caramel and a warm finish.  It features Michigan-grown barley, local malts and a blend of hops from Michigan & the Pacific Northwest.  Certain to make any occasion festive and fun.  ABV: 7.5%

Sam Smith  Winter Welcome

This seasonal beer is a limited edition brewed for the short days and long nights of winter. The full body resulting from fermentation in ‘stone Yorkshire squares’ and the luxurious malt character, which will appeal to a broad range of drinkers, is balanced against whole-dried Fuggle and Golding hops with nuances and complexities that should be contemplated before an open fire.  ABV: 6.0 %

Brooklyn  Winter IPA

Cold weather calls for thick knit hats, swift sleds, and Brooklyn Winter IPA. This classic IPA layers Simcoe and Trident hops for notes of dark fruit, blood orange, and bright, frosty juniper and pine aromas. A touch of rye spice notes warm the finish to keep you cozy to the core. Stock up and enjoy the flurries while they last.  ABV: 7.0 %

Troegs Independent Brewing The Mad Elf

The Mad Elf is here with its nuanced blend of sweet and tart cherries, Pennsylvania honey, chocolate malt and a hint of mischief. The essence of this legendary holiday ale, along with its ruby red glow, is born from five varieties of tree-ripened cherries. Local wildflower honey sweetens the celebration, and a spicy Belgian yeast adds subtle notes of cinnamon, clove and allspice. It’s not the holidays until you’ve had your first Mad Elf.  ABV: 11.0%
